This Is Where I Leave You Movie Quotes
"This Is Where I Leave You" movie quotes tell the story of a family who reunites after their father's death, including one man whose life is currently a mess. The comedy-drama film was adapted by Jonathan Tropper from his novel of the same name. Shawn Levy wrote the movie which opened in theaters on September 19, 2014.

In "This Is Where I Leave You," Judd Altman (Jason Bateman) was once happy but recent struggles professionally added with the news that wife Quinn (Abigail Spencer) has been cheating on him with his former boss Wade (Dax Shepard) have sent him into a depression. This is only complicated when he learns that his father has passed away.

When Judd returns home to attend his father's funeral, he learns from mother Hillary (Jane Fonda) that he and his three siblings, Wendy (Tina Fey), Paul (Corey Stoll) and Phillip (Adam Driver), will be spending the next seven days sitting shiva together, whether they like it or not. All is not lost, however, as time with his family, plus his reunion with former love Penny (Rose Byrne) might just be what Judd needs to break out of his funk.

"This is Where I Leave You" has some stiff competition at the box office opening alongside the likes of "The Maze Runner," "Dolphin Tale 2," "No Good Deed," "The Skeleton Twins," "The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby," "The Drop," "The Identical," "Frontera," "The Longest Week," "The November Man," "The Congress," "Life of Crime," "Starred Up," "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For," "If I Stay," "When the Game Stands Tall," "Are You Here," "The Expendables 3," "Let's Be Cops."
